Petits Salons Presents: LOST
At our latest Petits Salons, we celebrated another legend — we screened the pilot of the Emmy Award-winning show, LOST.
Bryan Burk, Executive Producer on Lost, joined us to share his experience working on the hit show. Burk is a 6-time Emmy nominee, and won an Emmy with the Lost team in 2005 for Outstanding Drama Series. Burk has also worked as an EP on Westworld, Person of Interest, 11.22.63, Fringe, Cloverfield, and Star Trek, and is a long time collaborator of J.J. Abrams.
Doors opened at 7:00pm with live music by Chalk Teeth. Black glass synths, washed in noise-rock guitar, with Polish vocals, propelled by relentless drum machine pulses, Chalk Teeth is a Los Angeles three piece by way of NYC and Oakland traversing iron and beaded curtains. The band features Karolina Wallace (vocals and guitar) and Adam Wallace (guitar) of Radiant Reveries with Jason Miller (synths, bass, drum programming) of Lumerians and Wet Satin.
Following the music, guests moved from the Wiggle Room and bar out to the fire deck for our screening of Lost.
Lost follows the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, who were 1,000 miles off course when they crashed on a lush, mysterious island. Each person possesses a shocking secret, but they've got nothing on the island itself, which harbors a monstrous security system, a series of underground bunkers and a group of violent survivalists hidden in the shadows. Created by J.J. Abrams, the show ran for six seasons and won 10 Primetime Emmy Awards.
After nearly a year of bi-monthly gatherings, we’re deeply grateful for what this collaboration between Petit Ermitage, Cheshire Moon Productions, and Blkbrd Films has grown into—an ongoing opportunity to celebrate our work, connect regularly, and cultivate a vibrant community of fellow arthouse film lovers.
**This screening included a Q&A with Executive Producer Bryan Burk.
Scene House Premieres at Not Film Festival — August 27th
We are thrilled to share that Scene House will have its World Premiere at Nòt Film Festival!
The festival will take place from August 27–31 in Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy. Nòt is one of Italy’s leading international festivals, known for spotlighting independent filmmakers, and we’re honored to premiere in such an inspiring and beautiful setting.
This premiere holds special meaning: It was at Nòt in 2023 that Scene House writer and director Annabella Fazio met our Executive Producer, Sarah Carter. Nearly a year later, Sarah officially joined Scene House, bringing her mentorship, expertise, and support.
Cheshire Moon Productions, has screened at Nòt twice earning Sarah Carter the award for Best Director for In Her Name in 2022 and for Best Performance by David Agranov in Kevin and Alec Barth’s A Pity in 2023. Sarah has since been included to speak on their producers panel and partnered Not with her Los Angeles based film and music salon series Petits Salons. We can vouch for how meaningful, community building, and filmmaker-focused this festival truly is.
Scene House takes place in a dystopian future where Actors inhabit an enclosed area called The Scene House. The Scene House serves as a unique hybrid of a theme park and a museum, providing Actors with the freedom to move about as they please. Actors are nurtured within the confines of The Scene House, making the environment entirely commonplace for them, akin to how animals adapt to a zoo.
Two years ago exactly, on her birthday, Annabella Fazio met Sarah Carter of Cheshire Moon Productions at this very festival. What began as a chance encounter became a collaboration: Filmmaker Annabella and producer Lia Lee were in the midst of production, and Sarah joined as Executive Producer to help shepherd the film through post-production, festival strategy, and beyond.
Week after week, the three met—refining the film, shaping its path, imagining its future along with their own futures as filmmakers. Now Scene House returns to the place it was born. Full circle.
Scene House will be screening on Saturday, August 30th at 3:30pm. The venue is located at SALA WENDERS - C'ENTRO CINEMA, P.za Guglielmo Marconi, 1, 47822 Santarcangelo di Romagna RN, Italy. Join us at the ticket link below!

Location Scouts Underway for CMP’s Upcoming Film, Iron Tears — 2026
This past week, Sarah flew out to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to location scout for CMP’s latest proof of concept short film, Iron Tears.
It’s a western, born from the vision of first-time director Darby Gaelle Hannon. Her imagination carries the air of inevitability—something destined—and we’re proud to stand beside her as it takes form.
We’ve gathered a dream team, beginning with our local producer Evan Mack whose childhood in Wyoming opened secret doors for us, introducing us to 3 Spear Ranch and the landscapes that feel like portals into another time.
The nature here has been fiercely protected, and it feels like the land itself is guiding us. This ride is wild, alive, and we can’t wait to discover where it leads.
Stay tuned for more on Iron Tears!
