Tap dancing, burlesque, and a pool party accompanied the screening, a brand new old Hollywood musical with beautiful girls tap dancing and handsome men crooning. “It Girl” Clara Bow was notorious for pushing men off the diving boards, and you can too. Wear your finest or nothing at all. A night to remember - or forget.

Petits Salons Jumped Into the Deep End — POOLS
Our screening of POOLS was our biggest night at Petits Salons yet. With live music from Haute and Freddy, synchronized swimming by Aquabatix USA, coverage from The Hollywood Reporter, and a pool party to accompany the screening, this was a night for the ages. Scene House Wins Big at Nòt Film Festival
This past weekend, Scene House had its World Premiere at Nòt Film Festival in Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy. We are delighted to report that the film took home two awards — Best Director for Annabella Fazio and Best Performance for THE ENTIRE CAST!

Women in Film Panel — Venice International Film Festival
CMP is partnering with Women in Film: A Panel Discussion to present their annual panel at Venice International Film Festival. "Reframing the Lens: How Can Women Transform Global Filmmaking?" will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd at 2pm (Sala Bianca Via P. Buratti 1 Lido de Venezia).

The featured shorts included Dancing in Tomorrowland (Jakob Roston), Fidel (Luke Lace), Hickey (Giovanna Molina), and Extraña (Paloma Ronquillo). All films have been directed by current or former UCLA MFA students.

Petits Salons Presents: Ed Wood
Ed Wood follows the titular Hollywood director who is outcasted due to his eccentric habits and bafflingly strange films. Directed by Tim Burton, the film stars Jonny Depp, Sarah Jessica Parker, Patricia Arquette, and Bill Murray.

Petits Salons Presents: Electra
In Electra, a journalist and his companion travel to interview a musician in Rome where a generous invite to a country estate becomes something much more than anyone expected. The film stars Maria Bakalova, Abigail Cowen, Jack Farthing, and Daryl Wein.
