This past weekend, Scene House had its World Premiere at Nòt Film Festival in Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy. We are delighted to report that the film took home two awards — Best Director for Annabella Fazio and Best Performance for THE ENTIRE CAST!

CMP is partnering with Women in Film: A Panel Discussion to present their annual panel at Venice International Film Festival. "Reframing the Lens: How Can Women Transform Global Filmmaking?" will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd at 2pm (Sala Bianca Via P. Buratti 1 Lido de Venezia).

At our latest Petits Salons, we celebrated another legend — we screened the pilot of the Emmy Award-winning show, LOST.

The featured shorts included Dancing in Tomorrowland (Jakob Roston), Fidel (Luke Lace), Hickey (Giovanna Molina), and Extraña (Paloma Ronquillo). All films have been directed by current or former UCLA MFA students.

Ed Wood follows the titular Hollywood director who is outcasted due to his eccentric habits and bafflingly strange films. Directed by Tim Burton, the film stars Jonny Depp, Sarah Jessica Parker, Patricia Arquette, and Bill Murray.

In Electra, a journalist and his companion travel to interview a musician in Rome where a generous invite to a country estate becomes something much more than anyone expected. The film stars Maria Bakalova, Abigail Cowen, Jack Farthing, and Daryl Wein.

On Monday, May 26th, Petits Salons screened select short films from Not Film Festival as a part of their NOT OFF summer tour.

On Monday, April 21st, Petits Salons screened the 80s cult-classic Heathers as part of our ongoing Monday Night Film & Music Salon Series at Petit Ermitage Hotel.

One For The Team, a new television pilot from Silas Howard, Rain Valdez, and Kyle Puccia, has picked up Cheshire Moon Productions as a producing partner. CMP will be supporting the project through their festival run, and aid in acquiring further development.

My Dead Dad focuses on the complexities of grief and finding one's own way in the way of an estranged parent's death. The journey from idea to script to set to distribution is an admirable one we would love to share and honor.

On Monday, February 3rd, we presented a celebration of short films that are in the process of development into television series.

On Janaury 27th, we presented a tribute to David Lynch at Petit Salons.

The work in progress features is based on the groundbreaking student-Oscar winning short film. Helicopter won the Grand Jury Prize at FEST New Directors New Films & was a selection of Film London’s Production Finance Market.

**This screening was presented by Laila Nabulsi, producer and long time collaborator of Hunter S Thompson. The Q&A was moderated by cinematherapist and founder of Inner Cinemas, Destinee Lee Handly.

On Monday, December 2nd, we featured a night of short films curated by Gio Labadessa, the co-founder of Not Film Festival.
