Fall Artist Retreat for Actors with Megan Ketch: October 13th - 15th
Join formidable actress Megan Ketch on her Fall Artist Retreat for Actors from October 13th - 15th! Actors (12-14 participants) retreat to Parkfield, CA (population: 18 people) for two days of rehearsal, exploration, hiking, swimming, horseback riding, stargazing and community. This landmarked town that spans 20,000 acres is a working ranch and a highly charged place ecologically - on the San Andreas fault line - and full of natural wonders.
Megan Ketch brings decades of acting experience from stage to screen, with notable performances in theater, television, and film. After completing her masters at NYU Graduate Acting, she was cast as the lead in the ABC pilot, GOTHAM, directed by Francis Lawrence and made her feature debut in the comedy, THE BIG WEDDING. Other acting credits include Joachim Trier’s LOUDER THAN BOMBS, THE AFFAIR (Showtime), RECKLESS (CBS), BLUE BLOODS (CBS), THE GOOD WIFE (CBS), UNDER THE DOME (CBS), GLOW (Netflix), SIRENS (Netflix), and most recently CHAD POWERS (Hulu). She wrote, produced, and starred in the short film, REMIND ME, directed by Rachel Chavkin, that premiered at Venice Film Festival in 2018. Megan directed her first film, a neo-western called IT’S YOUR FAULT, in collaboration with actors from her Studio at the V6Ranch. When she’s not acting or directing, Megan leads STUDIO in Los Angeles, an artistic community she founded that puts the actor back at the center of their creative process by offering workshops, scene studies, and acting intensives.

Studio is a small business with one employee (me!). It is a labor of love and commitment to artistic growth and community. I have a vibrant acting, coaching, and directing career outside of Studio. My husband has a vibrant acting career and real estate business, and we have a small child, he’s the most vibrant of us all. Studio classes, intensives and retreats have limited capacity to maintain their integrity. For this reason, I request that if you have to back out of a Studio commitment, you give me ten days’ notice so I can offer your spot to another student and recast your scene partner. Cancellations made within ten days of the first day of any Studio or Retreat will receive a 100% refund. However, if you cancel within ten days of class starting, there are no refunds. That said, I offer scholarships or sliding scale pricing to a couple of participants every workshop I teach. If money is keeping you from jumping into a workshop, please reach out to me and let’s find a way forward. Artists deserve safe, challenging spaces to practice their craft, and I am committed to serving that need.
Signups must be completed by this weekend so Megan can send casting for retreat by Monday 10/6. Venmo @Megan-Ketch the Scene Study and Intensives Cost ($250) to reserve your spot now.
Moon House: The Home Stretch
To me, owning the vision doesn’t mean micromanaging every detail. It means holding the dream steady while letting the team bring their genius — and being open to how the process changes me and each collaborator as we move through it together.
Big thanks to my team: Lestrange Living, Kelsey Rae Lansdowne, Superior Home Remodels, Bixby Design Group, and to our incredible brand partners: Studio Luddite, Twenty One Tonnes, Corston Architectural Detail, Reclaimed Wood Source, Woodworking Masters, and Mi&Gei Hardware. You’ve shaped not just this house, but also the way I invest in people and their potential as CEO of Cheshire Moon.
This project stretched me in ways I never expected. Building Moon House has been a crash course in leadership — holding the vision, trusting the team, and staying steady even when things felt uncertain. I had no idea renovating my home would teach me so much about protecting my family, balancing budgets and timelines, collaborating with passionate artists, and still insisting on the highest possible creative vision.
Every true creative process invites in a force bigger than any one of us. We’re in this together, and I’m so grateful you’re here for it.
We’re in the home stretch. I can’t wait to share how it all comes together in real time.
Screen Your Film at Petits Salons
Petits Salons is a collaboration between James Aaron Oliver, Darby Gaelle Hannon, and Sarah Carter in partnership with Cheshire Moon Productions, BLKBRD Films, and Petit Hermitage — a space for artists, filmmakers, investors, and friends to connect. Each evening begins with live music inspired by the film and closes with a Q&A designed to spark meaningful conversations and encourage fellow filmmakers to follow their creative instincts despite the challenges.
